Diving Introduction in Baru

Imagine the thrill of learning to dive at one of the most stunning beaches on Baru Island. In this introduction to scuba diving course, you will experience a day immersed in the beauty of the Colombian Caribbean!

Activity Overview

We will convene at the scheduled time at the dive center, situated within the Scubatai Beach Club. Are you ready to embark on an exciting aquatic journey in Baru?

Prior to venturing into the open waters, you will be taught the fundamental skills of scuba diving. This includes a theoretical session followed by practical exercises in confined waters. We will ensure that you are comfortable with how to operate the regulator and understand underwater communication signals.

Once you feel confident, we'll board the boat and set sail towards the Baru barrier reef! Here, you’ll engage in one dive lasting around 30 minutes.

As you explore beneath the surface, you’ll discover the extraordinary marine life surrounding Baru Island. Expect to encounter parrotfish, lionfish, trumpetfish, sea urchins, barracudas, and possibly even sea turtles!

After approximately one hour of underwater adventure, we will conclude the experience back at the starting point.
