Casa Milà Barcelona Tickets
Description
Explore the innovative universe of Antoni Gaudí by securing your entry to Casa Milà, commonly referred to as La Pedrera, situated in Barcelona. Enhance your visit with a complimentary audioguide that offers in-depth insights into this architectural marvel.
Casa Milà (La Pedrera)
Originally commissioned in 1906 by esteemed politician and businessman Pere Milà I Camps, this modernist masterpiece is designed by the talented Catalan architect Gaudí. Although known officially as Casa Milà, its nickname La Pedrera—meaning 'the stone quarry' in Catalan—stems from its distinctive and irregular facade.
With the assistance of your audioguide in English, traverse through the various spaces within this World Heritage site. Visitors can also explore Espacio Gaudí, an interpretation center focused on the architect's work, along with exhibition spaces and vibrant courtyards. The fourth floor features a replica of a bourgeois residence from the early 20th century.
A key feature of La Pedrera is its magnificent rooftop, providing stunning panoramic views over Barcelona. The upper terrace attracts attention for its unique 'warrior chimneys', which served as inspiration for the design of Star Wars helmets. These distinctive elements contribute to its status as one of the most photographed locations of Casa Milà.
The audioguide tour spans about 90 minutes. Once the guided portion concludes, feel free to roam Casa Milà at your own pace and revisit your preferred areas. Why not take the opportunity to discover this iconic landmark, recognized as the 2026 World Capital of Architecture?
