Operational Process
Upon booking, there is no need to pre-select your attractions; you can make choices on-site while in Barcelona.
Keep in mind that some venues may require advanced booking. Once purchased, you will be provided a link for any necessary reservations.
The Barcelona Essentials Pass permits one-time entry to each of the 3 attractions chosen. Though a start date is necessary during booking, it is valid for use within one year from the date of purchase.
The pass becomes active on your first visit and remains valid for 30 days following activation.

Operational Process
When making a reservation, you must select the number of attractions you wish to access: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7. Be aware that each site can only be visited one time.
Despite the necessity of a start date at booking, the benefits of the Barcelona Explorer Pass can be enjoyed for 12 months after purchase. The pass activates upon your initial attraction visit. At each site, simply present the QR codes received via email on your mobile device. Your pass will remain valid for 30 days from activation.
Children Under 4
The passes designated for children with the Barcelona Essentials Pass and Barcelona Explorer Pass apply to kids aged 4 to 12. Many attractions included offer complimentary entry for young children under 4. It’s advisable to verify specific details on each attraction's website.

Go City: Barcelona Essentials Pass
This booking confirmation is not a ticket and cannot be exchanged for physical tickets or used to access attractions directly.
Your confirmation email will include an attached PDF. Please check that the file contains the passes you purchased, each with a unique QR code per user. If you don't receive the PDF, you can contact us through our web contact form.
Downloading the electronic pass will not activate it. To use your pass, simply present the QR code from your electronic pass at the entrance of each attraction. Please save the mobile-friendly PDF so you can easily open and show it on your phone to access the attractions.
Prior Reservation of Included Attractions

Local public holidays may affect the opening of some attractions included in the pass. Closures due to public holidays will not be grounds for a partial or full refund.
Pass Validity
The Go City: Barcelona Essentials Pass gives you one-time access to each of the 3 attractions you choose. Although a start date is required at the time of booking, you can use the pass within one year of purchase.
The pass activates on your first visit and expires 30 days after activation.
Children Under 3
Children under 3 don't need a pass, as they can access all attractions and viewpoints for free.

Go City: Barcelona Explorer Pass
This booking confirmation isn't a valid ticket and cannot be exchanged for physical tickets or used to access Barcelona's tourist attractions.
In your confirmation email, you'll find an attached PDF file. You must check that the file contains the passes purchased with a unique QR code for each user. If you do not receive the PDF within 72 hours, please contact us at: https://www.civitatis.com/en/contact/
Downloading the electronic pass won't activate it. In order to use your tourist pass, you must present the QR code that appears on your e-pass at the entrance to the attractions.
It's therefore important that the PDF you save with the QR codes is compatible with your mobile phones so that you can open it easily and display it on your device when you enter the attractions.
How Does the Go City: Barcelona Explorer Pass work?
The Go City: Barcelona Explorer Pass offers you complete flexibility: you can decide as you go which of the included attractions you'll take advantage of during your stay in Barcelona. You'll have free access to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 attractions in the city, depending on the option selected.
The Go City: Barcelona Explorer Pass gives you one-time access to each attraction and is valid for a determined 30 days from when it's activated. Local public holidays may affect the opening times of some of the attractions included in the pass. Public holiday closures won't be grounds for a full or partial refund of the pass price.
Although a start date is requested at the time of booking, you may use the pass for 12 months from the date of booking.
