Description
When visiting Barcelona, experiencing the free night tour through the Gothic Quarter is essential. This journey will immerse you in the city's rich history while you take in its enchanting nighttime ambiance.
Description
We will kick off this free night tour of the Gothic Quarter at Plaça de Catalunya at the scheduled time.
Our first destination is Carrer d'Estruc, known as the most enchanting street in the city. Here, tales of sorcerers and astrologers who significantly influenced the town’s evolution will unfold, alongside a look at witchcraft symbols that are preserved in Barcelona’s vibrant streets.
Next, we will visit Els Quatre Gats, a historic modernist café once frequented by leading artists. As we proceed on this complimentary tour, we will appreciate the Mural of the Kiss, a captivating piece of urban art exemplifying the love and passion infused into every corner of the city.
Our journey continues to Plaza Nueva, where an open-air artwork awaits us. This location boasts some of the city's oldest shops and the impressive monument to the Castellers located in Plaza de San Miguel.
Following our exploration of this ancient Catalan custom, we will venture into the paths once trodden by famed figures like Cervantes and Picasso. This journey leads us to the Basilica of Santa Maria del Pi, where the architectural wonders and secrets of this majestic temple will be revealed, solidifying its status as a Barcelona highlight.
As we continue, we will stroll down Carrer Petritxol, renowned for its delightful chocolate establishments and art galleries. Finally, we will make our way to Las Ramblas, culminating at the impressive Gran Teatro del Liceo, noted as one of Europe’s leading opera houses.
After approximately 2 hours of exploration, this free night tour will conclude at Plaça Reial.
