Tour Overview

We'll convene at Carrer de Martí i Franquès, 21, in Barcelona at the scheduled time before departing towards the Penedès region. This picturesque area, located between Barcelona and Tarragona, is celebrated for its exceptional wine production.

Upon our arrival in Penedès, we will commence our thrilling off-roading adventure to explore the vineyards. Over the next 40 minutes, a wine connoisseur will provide insights into the unique attributes of the vines, the cultivation methods, and the practices necessary to maintain the grapes' quality throughout the seasons.

Along the journey, you will uncover the intriguing history of Penedès and the various legends that enrich its culture. Known for producing some of Spain’s most esteemed wines, this region is appreciated globally. Its diverse geography, ranging from coastal areas to highlands, creates ideal conditions for cultivating a wide array of grape varieties.

Following the off-roading adventure, we will transition from theory to tasting by enjoying four delightful Penedès wines along with four types of Catalan cavas. You will engage your senses to appreciate their flavors, while learning to identify the distinctive traits of each wine. To complement the tasting, a variety of local tapas will be served.

As this captivating experience concludes, we will return to the bus for our journey back to the original meeting point in Barcelona.
