Sagrada Familia Private Tour
Description
The Sagrada Familia stands as a quintessential icon of Barcelona. Experience the rich history and intricate design of Gaudí's uncompleted triumph during this exclusive tour tailored for you, your partner, family, or close friends.
Tour Details
At the appointed time, we will commence our exclusive exploration of Barcelona's Sagrada Familia, gathering at 416 Mallorca Street.
Initially, we will appreciate the stunning exterior of this modernist jewel, created by Antonio Gaudí. Various intricate elements often escape notice. Have you ever wondered about the significance of the magic square engraved with numbers? Or the depiction of Christ's life as illustrated by the sculptures in the multiple niches? Our knowledgeable guide will uncover these details as we admire the remarkable Nativity, Passion, and Glory façades.
Subsequently, we will venture inside the Sagrada Familia. Within the basilica, you'll be entranced by the vibrant hues of light filtering through its colorful stained glass flanking the central nave. We will then descend to the crypt, where the chapels dedicated to Saint Joseph, Our Lady of Montserrat, and El Carmen, where Gaudí rests, are particularly noteworthy.
The basilica also features the Sagrada Familia Museum. Here, through the exhibition, we will delve deeper into Gaudí's modernist endeavors and those of his peers. Additionally, you will appreciate the architectural progress of this ongoing construction, which started back in 1882.
Following an hour and a half of exploration, our tour will conclude at one of the entrances of the Sagrada Familia. You will then have the opportunity to further explore the monument at your own pace.
