Puerto Blest & Cantaros Waterfall Day Trip
Description
Enjoy a boat ride on Nahuel Huapi Lake with this day trip that will allow you to explore Puerto Blest and the Cantaros Waterfall. Not to be missed!
Puerto Blest & Cantaros Waterfall
On the day of our tour, we'll pick you up from your selected meeting point from 8:30 am, or meet directly at the Puerto Pañuelo wharf at 9 am. From here, we'll set out on our boat trip on Nahuel Huapi Lake.
Our cruise on this beautiful lake will border the coast of Centinela Islet, the final resting place of the scientist Francisco Pascasio Moreno, considered the father of Argentina's National Parks. After an hour of sailing, we'll reach the Cantaros Waterfall, where we'll have time to admire the spectacular cascades.
You'll then have 20 minutes to have lunch (not included) before we continue on our journey through the Valdivian Jungle. Here we'll see Lake Cantaros, the source of the waterfalls and home to numerous larch trees, one of which is more than 1500 years old!
A short distance away, we'll reach Puerto Blest, where we'll enjoy unparalleled views over the bay and the shores of Lake Frias, whose striking green waters come from one of the Cerro Tronador glaciers. Did you know that this is the natural border between Argentina and Chile?
At the end of the day, we'll return to Puerto Pañuelo, before dropping you back off at the original meeting point between 5:15 and 6 pm.
