Barranquilla Carnaval Parade Experience
Description
Experience the Barranquilla Carnival in a way like no other: immerse yourself in the festivities by parading alongside an official comparsa during the memorable Batalla de Flores 2027.
Join the Batalla de Flores at the 2027 Barranquilla Carnival
The Batalla de Flores marks the beginning of the Barranquilla Carnival, a cherished event with roots tracing back to 1903. This celebration emerged as a means to honor the end of the Thousand Days' War, transforming a narrative of conflict into one of harmony, where, instead of arms, the residents of Barranquilla exchanged them for flowers, joy, and dance in a vibrant "battle" aimed at national reconciliation.
As the highlight of the Carnival, this parade transforms the cumbiódromo on Vía 40 and nearby streets into a lively spectacle brimming with remarkable floats, vibrant folkloric groups, and Colombia's most dazzling comparsas.
Witness an astonishing fusion of live music, elaborate traditional costumes such as the Rey Momo, Marimonda, and Garabato, amidst a euphoric audience celebrating with foam in an unparalleled event.
This experience grants you an exclusive chance to be part of the action, joining a comparsa during the lively Batalla de Flores 2027.
