Explore the enchanting island of Nevis on this expedition departing from Basseterre, where pristine beaches, lush plantations, soothing hot springs, and a majestic volcano await your discovery.

Excursion to Nevis Island

Your adventure begins at 9 am, when we will collect you from your accommodation in Basseterre. From there, we'll proceed to the port to board a ferry, setting sail towards the idyllic island of Nevis.

After a delightful 45-minute journey across the serene Caribbean waters, we will arrive at our destination and transition into a minibus for an engaging two-and-a-half-hour exploration of the island’s most noteworthy sites. You will observe the historic plantation homes that have been transformed into stylish hotels and take a tour of the capital city, Charlestown. Moreover, we will visit the famed thermal springs of Nevis, renowned for their healing properties!

Your itinerary also includes an optional guided tour of the Botanical Gardens, showcasing an array of tree and flower species. Here, you’ll step back to the late 18th century and uncover the connections between this region and Horatio Nelson, the then vice-admiral of the British Royal Navy.

Throughout the excursion, we will pause at various lookout points to admire stunning vistas of Nevis Peak, a prominent volcano located at the heart of Nevis and the island's highest elevation!

As our tour concludes, you will have two choices: return to Saint Kitts on the 1 pm ferry, or opt for three hours of leisure on the island before taking the 4 pm ferry back. The decision is yours to make!

We will finish the excursion by dropping you back at your accommodation at either 2 pm or 5 pm, depending on your selected return ferry schedule.
