After enjoying breakfast, we will embark on a journey through the historic center of Beijing to explore some of its iconic landmarks. Our first stops will include Tiananmen Square, known as the largest square globally, which has hosted numerous significant political gatherings. From there, we will proceed to the Forbidden City, home to the impressive Imperial Palace, and a residence for Chinese Emperors until 1911.

At approximately 12:30 pm, we will enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant, sampling authentic Pekingese dishes. The exploration will continue with a visit to the historic Hutongs established during the Yuan Ming and Qing dynasties. We’ll then visit Jingshan Park, a perfect spot for magnificent views of the Forbidden City before concluding our guided excursion at the Chinese Tea House.

You will return to the hotel by 5:30 pm, after which the evening is yours to enjoy.

Day 3: The Great Wall of China - Beijing

This day is dedicated to one of China’s most renowned historical sites, the Great Wall of China. After breakfast, we will depart from the hotel and make our way to the outskirts of Beijing.

Upon arriving at the Mutianyu entrance, we will ascend via a cable car, granting us spectacular aerial views of this UNESCO World Heritage site, which spans over 6,000 kilometers (3,700 miles).

By noon, we’ll take a pause for lunch at a local eatery before heading back to the city. We will stop en route to admire the structures built for the 2008 Olympic Games, like the National Stadium, commonly known as the Bird's Nest, and the National Aquatics Centre, notoriously referred to as the Water Cube. Subsequently, we will also visit the Jade Museum.

You will return to the hotel by 5:30 pm.

Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an

Following breakfast at the hotel, we will set off for the Temple of Heaven, the largest Heaven-dedicated structure in China. If fortune favors us, we might observe locals practicing tai chi in the gardens.

At around 12:30 pm, transportation will be provided to the railway station in Beijing, where you will board a bullet train to Xi'an. The journey lasts about five hours, after which you will be greeted by a guide who will assist you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is free for you to explore.

Day 5: Terracotta Warriors - Xi'an

This day is focused on the famed Terracotta Warriors. After breakfast, we will venture outside Xi'an to explore one of the most significant archaeological sites globally. Once we arrive at the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum, we will have the chance to witness over 8,000 life-sized terracotta figures of warriors and horses.

Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site, these sculptures are arranged around three deep moats, spanning between 4 and 8 meters. Did you know that the warriors were interred approximately 1.5 kilometers from the tomb of the first emperor of the Qin dynasty?

At 12:30 pm, a local restaurant will host our lunch, after which we’ll return to Xi'an to visit the impressive Bell Tower, the best-preserved structure of its kind in China, and wander the vibrant Muslim Quarter. The afternoon will conclude at the North Square of the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, an expansive area surrounded by sculptures and fountains offering stunning views.

Day 6: Xi'an

After breakfast, we will begin with a guided exploration of Xi'an's historic center. Our first destination will be the City Wall, one of the oldest and longest city walls in China. Following this, we will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda for a traditional performance.

At midday, we’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards, we will visit the Gao Courtyard to experience a Chinese shadow show before taking another stroll through the lively Muslim Quarter.

The day will conclude with a return to the hotel at 5:30 pm.

Day 7: Xi'an - Guilin

Today’s journey will take you from Xi'an to Guilin. We'll collect you from your hotel and drive you to the Xi'an train station to board a high-speed train to Guilin. After a travel time of approximately 10 hours, a guide will await your arrival with a sign bearing your name. You will then be taken to your hotel, where you can relax for the rest of the day.

Day 8: Li River Cruise from Guilin

Post-breakfast, we will gather in the hotel lobby and proceed to Guilin port for a 4-hour scenic boat cruise along the Li River. During this delightful journey, we'll relish the enchanting landscaping until we reach Yangshuo for lunch served aboard.

Once in Yangshuo, we will disembark and visit West Street, the area’s oldest thoroughfare where you can explore shops and cafes. We will then return to Guilin while stopping at the Pearl Museum.

We’ll be back at the hotel by 5:30 pm.

Day 9: Guilin - Shanghai

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will embark to the Elephant Trunk Hill, a symbolic landmark of Guilin. You’ll soon see why it received this name! This unique karst formation juts into the Li River, and we will explore the summit to take in breathtaking views of the natural surroundings. We will also enjoy a brief walk around the river and visit the Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park.

In the afternoon, lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, after which we will visit the Reed Flute Cave, renowned as one of China and the world's most beautiful caves.

Subsequently, we will escort you to the train station in Guilin to board a high-speed train to Shanghai, situated over 1,500 kilometers (932 miles) away. You will spend the night in Shanghai.
