Activity Overview

Upon arrival at Dongsi North Street, we will provide a brief orientation and assign you your choice of electric bike or scooter. You will receive guidance on their use, along with helmets for safety. Are you set to navigate through Beijing's renowned hutongs?

Your journey will commence with an immersion in the culture and daily routines of Beijing. We will wander through its winding, narrow streets that have been central to the city's identity for centuries. As we navigate past traditional residences, intriguing tales about the locals and the enduring secrets of the area will be shared.

We will next visit the grand Drum and Bell Towers, established in 1272 and serving as landmarks for three different dynasties. Here, you will discover how these structures regulated the city's daily tempo long before we relied on the clocks of today.

During our ride, we will encounter vivid scenes typical of the Chinese capital. You may observe elderly gentlemen immersed in Chinese chess matches at street corners, vibrant shops, children laughing and playing in the streets, as well as secluded courtyards. We will pause at various locations for photo opportunities, and for those interested, there will be an option to savor local dishes at charming cafes.
