Details of the Day Trip
Our adventure begins at the designated meeting point at Exit C of Dongzhimen Station in Beijing, where we'll board a bus to the Great Wall of China, focusing on the Mutianyu area. The excitement is palpable as we set off!
During the journey, we will provide captivating stories about this ancient monument, which has origins dating back to the 5th century. Expect a ride of about an hour and a half to reach this iconic and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Upon our arrival, we’ll bypass the lengthy ticket queues and enter directly, allowing you to explore Mutianyu at your own pace. This section is renowned for its striking mountain vistas and comparatively smaller crowds.
Choose to undertake a challenging 6-km (3.7 mi) hike up to one of the highest towers or opt for a convenient cable car ride by purchasing a ticket on-site. Whichever route you choose, the breathtaking scenery will leave a lasting impression.
After sufficient time exploring the wall, we’ll regroup and head back on the bus to Beijing, with a drop-off at Dongzhimen Subway Station. The complete duration of this trip can vary from 6 to 8.5 hours, tailored to your chosen itinerary.

- Morning Trip: Experience 5 hours of free time at the Great Wall, making the overall excursion last 8.5 hours.
- Afternoon Trip: Enjoy 2.5 hours of free time at the Great Wall, with the entire trip lasting 6 hours.

Important information
On the day of the activity, the local tour operator will meet you at Exit C at Dongzhimen Station. To get here, take Line 2 or 13 of the metro to Dongzhimen Station. Please arrive at least 15 minutes in advance.
Your guide will be wearing a red Mubus jacket.
Important
- Don't forget to bring your passport on the tour.
- We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and clothes.
- Cable car tickets are not included and can be purchased on the bus. On the west side of the Wall, you can take the cable car for 100CNY one way or 140CNY round trip. On the other side, prices are the same, but you go up by chairlift and can come down either by chairlift or on the toboggan slide. During the bus ride, your guide will explain how to visit the Great Wall.
