This accessible option permits entry up to the main gate of the complex (the principal park area) but does not include access to the inner gardens and pavilions. It's ideal for those seeking a leisurely stroll through the landscaped surroundings and the expansive lakes found within the Summer Palace.
Summer Palace, Gardens, & Museums Admission
This comprehensive option offers the most complete experience, granting entry to the areas mentioned earlier, alongside access to the major cultural and architectural highlights of the complex. With this combined ticket, you’ll have the opportunity to visit:
- The Dehe Garden
- The impressive Tower of Buddhist Incense
- The charming Suzhou Street
- The Summer Palace Museum
Visiting Hours
The Summer Palace in Beijing is open every day except Mondays. The access times differ based on the ticket selection:
- General Admission to the Summer Palace: open from 6 am to 7 pm
- Summer Palace, Gardens, & Museums Admission: open from 6 am to 3 pm

It is important to note that, although the ticket price may be higher compared to the official website, our booking process offers a significant benefit: you can skip the lines for ticket purchases, which tend to be particularly long during high season. Additionally, for international travelers, securing tickets through the WeChat app can pose challenges.
Entry for Senior Visitors and Young Children
Visitors aged under 7 and seniors over 60 do not need a ticket for entry, but they must present their passports.

This is not the official ticket. You’ll receive a QR code that you’ll need to redeem on the day of your visit at the Summer Palace ticket offices (Dongcheng, China, 100061).

Please note that, although the Civitatis price is higher than the official website price, our booking process offers a major advantage: you’ll avoid the lines to buy tickets that often form, especially during peak season.
