Tour Overview

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel lobby at the scheduled time. We will then travel through Beijing's historic neighborhoods, the hutongs, via a classic rickshaw, immersing you in the atmosphere of how many locals maintain their traditional lifestyles, making this journey truly significant.

Our first major stop will be Tiananmen Square, the country's most significant square and the largest globally. Here, you will observe the impressive Monument to the People's Heroes, the Mausoleum of Mao Zedong, the Great Hall of the People, and the National Museum from the outside. Photo opportunities abound, although we will not enter these structures.

As we leave the square from its northern exit, we will arrive at the entrance of the Forbidden City, the most expansive imperial palace in China, which served as the home for 24 emperors over a span of more than five centuries. We will navigate through the complex, highlighting its most captivating areas and sharing intriguing stories.

After our exploration, you will have some free time to enjoy lunch and take a moment to relax.

The tour concludes at your hotel or another preferred location after approximately 8 hours.

Forbidden City Access

Please note that the Forbidden City is closed every Monday. If you arrive in Beijing on a Monday, it’s advisable to utilize your day by visiting the Great Wall of China or the Temple of Heaven.

Keep in mind, the access to the Forbidden City can be limited, particularly on high-demand dates. It is recommended to secure your booking at least 7 days in advance.

Document Requirements

When making a reservation, it is necessary to provide passport details for each participant. Ensure that the passport number entered is correct, as modifications cannot be made afterwards. If your group size exceeds the number of fields available, please indicate "N/A" in the extra spaces. Remember to bring your passport on the tour day.
