Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

Your journey begins upon landing at Beijing airport, where you'll be greeted by a representative holding a sign with your name. Following the transfer to your accommodation for the next three nights, you can spend the remainder of the day relaxing and acclimating.

Day 2: Discovering Beijing

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel, we'll set off to explore some of the most iconic sights that define the Chinese capital. Our first destination is Tiananmen Square, the largest of its kind globally, known for its historical significance. From there, we’ll view other notable landmarks, including the Forbidden City, which served as the imperial residence for Chinese emperors until 1911.

After an hour and a half break for lunch at a local traditional restaurant, we'll delve into the Hutong streets of Beijing’s ancient neighborhoods, followed by a visit to Jingshan Park.

Your day concludes around 5:30 PM, allowing you time to freshen up and embrace Beijing's vibrant nightlife at your leisure.

Day 3: The Great Wall of China

The morning kicks off with a pick-up from your hotel at 8:00 AM, as we head towards one of the most significant historical landmarks—the Great Wall of China. Here, we will take a cable car up to the Mutianyu section, offering breathtaking aerial views of this Modern Wonder of the World.

At approximately 12:30 PM, we'll stop for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Beijing. En route, stops will include the renowned National Stadium, famously known as the Bird’s Nest, and the National Aquatics Centre, also referred to as the Water Cube, both constructed for the 2008 Olympic Games. Our day wraps up around 5:30 PM.

Day 4: Beijing to Shanghai

Following breakfast, we will make our way to the Beijing train station to board a high-speed train to Shanghai, with a travel duration of roughly five and a half hours. Upon arrival, our guide will be present at the station exit to escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal.

Day 5: Shanghai Exploration

Meet at 9:00 AM for our journey to Shanghai's historic center. Here, we’ll appreciate the unique architectural features of the Shikumen buildings, often termed 'Stone Houses, ' which seamlessly blend Western and Eastern styles.

Next, we’ll visit the Yu Garden, a classic Chinese garden established during the Ming Dynasty in the 16th century, before enjoying lunch at a local dining establishment.

At around 1:30 PM, we continue to explore Shanghai's Old Street for quaint shops and delightful souvenirs, followed by a leisurely stroll along the Bund, where stunning views of the Oriental Pearl Tower await. We will have the opportunity to ascend the first and second spheres of the tower and conclude our day at the Shanghai History Museum, offering insights into the city’s captivating history.

We’ll return you to your hotel around 5:30 PM.

Day 6: Zhujiajiao Water Town

After breakfast, we'll travel to Zhujiajiao, a picturesque Water Town where history seems to have paused. This collection of traditional homes has been a center for trade and transportation for over 400 years. You'll have the chance to either wander the scenic streets or embark on a boat tour through the canals at your own pace.

After lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll make our way back to Shanghai.

Day 7: Final Day in Shanghai

Today is free for you to explore Shanghai at your leisure. Depending on your flight schedule, we will coordinate a meet-up for transfer to the airport, marking the conclusion of your tour.

Essential Information

To participate in this tour, it is necessary to have a flight landing in Beijing and a return flight from Shanghai, arriving on your scheduled booking day and departing seven days later (e.g., arriving Monday and leaving the following Sunday).

Note that during your high-speed train ride from Beijing to Shanghai, no guide will accompany you, but assistance will be available upon your arrival in Shanghai.

Included Meals

This package includes four lunch meals throughout the week in Beijing and Shanghai, except for the first, fourth, and last days. Evening meals are left for your choice.
Your stay spans six nights and includes breakfast each morning.

During the booking process, you can select accommodations in either a 3-star or a 5-star hotel, based on availability. The following options may be available:

Traveling with Children?

For bookings that include children, please take note of the following:

• Kids aged 6-11 will have their own beds.
• Children aged 2-5 will need to share a bed with an adult.
• Infants under 2 years will also share a bed with their adult caretakers.

If separate bedding is required for children under 5, they will be charged at the rate of a child aged 6 to 11.
