Your journey begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Beirut at 11 am. From there, a comfortable minibus will take you towards Mount Lebanon, leading us to the charming village of Deir el Qamar. Prepare for an enriching experience!

As we arrive, a leisurely walking tour will commence, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty of this picturesque Lebanese settlement. This village was the capital of Mount Lebanon until the 19th century, and you’ll find yourself wandering its charming cobblestoned lanes while we uncover its intriguing history, often referred to as the "Monastery of the Moon".

Amidst Deir el Qamar, we will admire Al-Midan square, the Fahr El-Dine Maan Mosque, the Emir Younes Maan Palace, and the Fakhreddine II Palace. The town's cultural richness is evident as we witness the harmonious coexistence of mosques, synagogues, and churches nestled within its streets.

After our exploration, a delightful Lebanese meal awaits us at a local restaurant, providing a taste of the region’s famous cuisine. Once we’ve enjoyed this culinary experience, we’ll return to the minibus and continue to the magnificent Beiteddine Palace, often referred to as the "Alhambra of Lebanon".

Here, we will traverse the palace grounds, which Emir Bashir II constructed in the 19th century atop a hill as his residence. We will visit the Midan, the impressive entrance courtyard, and explore various sections of the palace, including the Madafa, Dar al Wusta, Dar al Harim, and the Beiteddine hammam.

With your memory card filled with stunning photographs, our excursion will conclude as we make our way back to Beirut, arriving at your hotel around 5 pm.
