Additionally, we will stop by a winery in the Beqaa Valley, as well as visit Chtoura, Ksara, and Anjar, the ancient Umayyad city within Lebanon. Byblos, Jeita Cave, and Harissa (8 hours)
Departing from Beirut, our first destination will be Byblos, recognized as one of the world’s oldest cities. Here, we will investigate the archaeological site while delving into its rich Phoenician heritage. Our next visit will be to Harissa, where we will ascend via cable car to reach this significant pilgrimage destination, the grand statue of Our Lady of Lebanon. Finally, we will conclude with a trip to the stunning Jeita Caves, known for their extraordinary beauty.
Qadisha Valley, Qozhaya Monastery, and Cedars of God (9 hours)
Explore Northern Lebanon's wonders on this tour, featuring the breathtaking Qadisha Valley, also referred to as the Holy Valley. Our day will start in Becharré, the birthplace of renowned poet and artist Gibran Kahlil Gibran. We will continue through the Cedars of God forest, concluding our visit at the historic Qozhaya monastery.
St. Charbel, St. Rafqa, and St. Hardini Monasteries (8 hours)
This tour is ideal for those interested in Lebanon’s prominent monasteries. We will initially visit the St. Charbel monastery, situated on one of the hills in the Jbeli region. The tour proceeds to the chapel of St. Peter and Paul, where St. Charbel—the first Catholic saint in Lebanon—spent his final years. We will also explore the monasteries of St. Hardini and St. Rafqa.
Byblos and the Monasteries of St. Maron and St. Charbel (8 hours)
A journey northward will bring us to the St. Maron monastery, the resting place of St. Charbel. After visiting this revered pilgrimage site, we will head to the chapel of St. Peter and St. Paul to further learn about the life of the saint. Our final destination will be Byblos, where we will wander through its Roman amphitheatre, the temple of obelisks, and the artisanal market.
Sidon, Tyre, and Maghdouché (8 hours)
We will set out towards Sidon, noted as the capital of the south and the third most populous city in Lebanon. Here, we will have the opportunity to visit the Sea Castle and stroll through the city streets, discovering the traditional markets, caravanserais, and the local craft of Arab soap production.
After this cultural exploration, our next stop will be Maghdouché, a site recognized as holy by the Vatican.
We will then proceed to Tyre, an ancient city of great Phoenician significance. Here, you can visit archaeological remains, including the necropolis, triumphal arch, and the remains of the ancient Roman racetrack.
