Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in Bentota at 8:30 am, after which we'll set off northward towards the capital. In roughly two hours, we will reach Colombo.

Upon arrival, the adventure continues as we delve into the heart of the city, visiting its prominent sites and attractions. Our first stop is the bustling Pettah district, renowned for its shops and vibrant marketplace. Here, we'll also see the notable clock tower, enjoy stunning views of the port, and visit the historic parliament building.

Next, we will make our way to the remarkable Gangaramaya temple, which is adorned with numerous statues that are sure to captivate. A midday pause for lunch at a traditional local eatery will allow you to savor the flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine.

Revitalized, we will proceed through Colombo’s main thoroughfare, passing the historic Dutch Museum and the elegantly designed City Hall, where intriguing puppets depicting past rulers await.

Our exploration continues as we discover Sri Lanka's unique twin towers, before visiting the old hippodrome. Here, we will take in the charming colonial architecture and browse the various stores that line the area.

We will conclude our excursion with a return journey to Bentota, arriving at approximately 6:30 pm.
