As we navigate its quaint cobblestone lanes, intriguing stories about the town's significant monuments await. Our first stop will be the magnificent Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, an exquisite example of Lombard Romanesque architecture that captivates every visitor.

Here, we'll discuss the extensive three-century construction period of this sacred site, while taking in the beautifully crafted mausoleum known as the Colleoni Chapel, the final resting place of a prominent local family.
