Tour Information

We will commence our guided journey at the Monserrate cable car ticket office at the specified time. Once assembled, we'll ascend via the cable car, contingent on availability, to the summit of the mountain, where you will be greeted with breathtaking vistas of the urban landscape.

Upon reaching the peak, a visit to the Basilica of the Fallen Lord of Monserrate awaits, where we'll delve into the history of this site as a prominent pilgrimage venue. Discover why it has drawn visitors from diverse corners of the globe over time, and explore the Catholic traditions that form an integral part of life in Colombia.

As we navigate around the mountain, we will pause at the key lookout points, allowing you to appreciate the grandeur of Bogota from various perspectives at an elevation of 3152 metres (10341 feet). This height not only affords a view of the city's expanse but also showcases the beautiful outskirts of the capital.

We'll take a moment at the wishing well, where you can toss in a coin and make a wish at the base of the Virgin of Monserrate, a cherished tradition to partake in.

Our hour-and-a-half tour will conclude with our return to the original meeting point.
