Latin Dance Class in Bogotá
Description
Are you ready to immerse yourself in an unforgettable evening in Bogotá? This experience harmoniously blends the energetic rhythm of salsa with the exciting local tradition of tejo, allowing you to truly embrace the vibrant festive culture of Colombia.
Activity Details
We'll gather at the designated time in Parque de la 93, a popular location in the city. From there, a vehicle will take us to our destination, approximately a 40-minute drive away, where the night of festivities will commence.
The adventure begins with a 30-minute salsa lesson, tailored for all skill levels. Led by a professional instructor, you’ll learn essential steps to immerse yourself in this lively dance style that enchants people throughout the region. Get ready to embrace the rhythm and feel the vibrant energy all around you.
Following our salsa warm-up, we’ll delve deeper into Colombia’s musical diversity. Over the next 30 minutes, you will have the opportunity to explore another genre, such as merengue, bachata, or vallenato. Each session highlights the rich variety of music that fills this colorful country.
As the evening progresses, we'll transition from dancing to engaging in a spirited session of tejo. This traditional Colombian pastime involves throwing metal disks at targets filled with gunpowder, promising a thrilling experience. It's a fantastic way to connect with others, share laughter, and enjoy an authentic night in Bogotá, suitable for both leisure travelers and corporate gatherings.
After approximately 2.5 hours filled with joy and cultural discovery, we will conclude the evening by returning to our original meeting point.
