Tour Details

We will gather at the specified meeting point on Minas Street in Bolaños de Calatrava. Once the group is assembled, our adventure will take us to a local cheese factory where we will engage in a cheese-making workshop.

To kick off the experience, we will don the appropriate attire for our factory tour, during which we will receive our initial insights into the craftsmanship behind Castilla-La Mancha's premier cheese. Throughout the workshop, we will undertake essential procedures like filtering and pasteurization.

As we allow the cheese to set, our exploration will continue with a tour of the factory’s facilities. Here, we will delve into the history and range of cheese varieties produced in Bolaños. The visit will culminate in a tasting session featuring various cheeses from the factory.

Upon returning to our workshop, we'll engage in the processes of turning and molding the cheese, leading to the rewarding moment of creating our very own cheese!
