Description
Dive into one of the most important chapters in US history on this American Revolution Tour, where you'll follow the Freedom Trail and enjoy a boat ride in the Port of Boston. You'll travel back in time!
Tour Details
The American Revolution is a pivotal event in the history of the independence of the United States. Explore its significant events and moments while touring the capital of Massachusetts. At the designated time, we'll meet at the statue of Bill Russell to begin this guided adventure, which includes a scenic boat ride around the Port of Boston.
Once gathered, we'll commence our American Revolution tour along the Freedom Trail, home to essential locations linked to the foundation of the United States. Our first stop will be the Boston Massacre Site, where the tragic civil massacre of 1770, a precursor to the Revolutionary War, occurred.
From there, we will proceed to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market, and pass by the historic red brick building of Blackstone Block until we reach the Paul Revere House, significant to this era. To delve deeper into Boston's history, we will visit the Old North Church, a landmark of the American Revolution.
After this visit, we'll retrace the famous Paul Revere's midnight ride and make our way to the Port of Boston, where we will board a boat to continue our exploration of this iconic event where Revere and fellow patriots alerted the militia about the British Army's intentions.
For 1.5 hours, we will sail the waters of the Port of Boston and uncover the secrets of the Boston Tea Party as we navigate close to one of the most historic ships in the United States: the USS Constitution. Additionally, we will pass the Bunker Hill Monument, another key site in Boston's revolutionary narrative.
In conclusion, we'll return to land and conclude our tour at the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park after a total of 6 hours.
