Embark on a guided walking tour that explores Boston and Harvard, where you'll uncover the rich history of one of the world's most esteemed universities alongside significant sites within the city.

Walking Tour of Boston and Harvard

Our adventure begins at the scheduled time on 7 North Street in Boston. Here, we will set out on our guided walking tour that highlights both the city and the prestigious Harvard University.

Our first stop will be Faneuil Hall, a landmark renowned for its role in American independence, where you’ll find the notable statue of Samuel Adams honoring a key figure of the revolutionary era. Continuing our journey, we’ll visit the vibrant Quincy Market, offering a taste of downtown Boston's lively ambiance. A brief walk will take us to the poignant New England Holocaust Memorial, a set of six glass towers that pay tribute to the millions who suffered during the Holocaust.

Next, we’ll pass by the Bell in Hand Tavern, the country’s oldest continuously operating tavern, before reaching the Old State House. This remarkable structure is not only one of Boston's oldest public buildings but also played a critical role during the lead-up to the American Revolution—a story you won’t want to miss!

Our exploration continues at the Old South Meeting House, a significant gathering point for colonists pre-Boston Tea Party. Following this, we will admire the stunning King's Chapel and the nearby King's Chapel Burying Ground, the oldest cemetery in Boston, where many of the city’s earliest settlers rest.

As we move forward, we’ll pass Old City Hall before ascending to the remarkable Massachusetts State House, topped by its distinctive golden dome. Afterward, we’ll stroll through the enchanting streets of Beacon Hill, including the renowned Acorn Street, celebrated as the most photographed street in Boston. Our route takes us through Boston Common, the oldest public park in the United States, leading us to the picturesque Public Garden, famous for its vibrant flower beds and graceful swan boats.

Following our exploration of Boston's historic center with the guide, we will ride the MBTA Red Line from Park Street Station to Harvard Station, crossing the Charles River into Cambridge. Here, we’ll immerse ourselves in Harvard Yard and the bustling Harvard Square, where you can appreciate the university's historic architecture, verdant grounds, and the notable statue of John Harvard.

In conclusion, our enriching 4-hour tour will wrap up in this captivating area.
