Plymouth Plantation Tour
Description
Are you interested in exploring the roots of America? Step back in time four centuries with this Plymouth Plantation Tour.
Description
Your adventure begins at your chosen pickup location in Boston, where we will depart for Plymouth. After a scenic 40-minute bus journey, we'll arrive at an extraordinary destination: the Plymouth Plantation. Are you prepared to immerse yourself in history?
Initially, we'll take a moment to enjoy the beautiful beach and the community of Brant Rock. As we stroll through its streets, we will find ourselves in 1627 New England, experiencing the daily life of a small maritime and agricultural community established by the pilgrims. You will have the opportunity to explore their homes and witness performers vividly reenacting daily activities from the 17th century. Observe them as they purchase bread, cultivate their fields, and chop wood. Feel free to engage with the locals, who are eager to share their insights!
Following this immersive experience, you will have some leisure time to enjoy a meal by the waterfront before we continue to visit Plymouth Rock, where you can delve into its rich history and pay respect to the early settlers at their memorial.
As the tour comes to a close, we will visit the Pilgrims' Museum, showcasing original artifacts and furnishings from that era, along with the iconic replica of the Mayflower II ship. During our journey, we will also pass by the oldest street in the nation!
After a comprehensive 8 to 9 hours of discovering American history, we will make our way back to Boston, wrapping up a day filled with adventure and learning.
