We will convene at the designated time outside the Bom Jesus do Monte Church in Braga. Are you ready to unveil its hidden gems?

Our journey begins with a visit to the renowned Stairway of the Five Senses, famous for its unique zigzag design consisting of 573 steps. Here, we will encounter terra cotta sculptures illustrating the Passion of Christ alongside five fountains symbolizing each of the five senses. This baroque staircase is undoubtedly a masterpiece!

Next, we will explore the Church of Bom Jesus, a neoclassical structure dating back to the 18th century, built upon the foundations of previous basilicas. Following this, a stroll through the magnificent gardens will reveal lush greenery, a serene lake, and a unique artificial cave.

Subsequently, our path will lead us to some of the significant chapels of the Via Crucis encircling the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte. Each chapel intricately narrates pivotal biblical events, including the death, resurrection, and triumph of Christ.
