Following some free time to enjoy lunch in Sinaia, we will visit Peles Castle, renowned for its architectural beauty and innovative features that set a historical standard in Europe. Afterward, our journey will take us back to Brasov. The itinerary will align closely with that of the Transylvania and Wallachia Castles Tour.

Sighisoara Day Trip (8 Hours)

Our journey from Brasov will lead us to the medieval town of Sighisoara, famously recognized as the birthplace of Vlad Tepes 'The Impaler', the 15th-century ruler who served as the muse for the character of Dracula. We will explore the renowned Church of the Hill and the Clock Tower, which houses the city's History Museum.

After a leisurely lunch break, we will commence our return journey to Brasov, stopping to admire the grand Rupea Citadel, a significant landmark in the area. The tour will be reminiscent of the Sighisoara Trip.

Sighisoara and Viscri Day Trip (9 Hours)

The outing will begin as we set off from Brasov toward Viscri, a quaint town within the Transylvania region, filled with numerous hidden treasures. We’ll meander through its historic center, particularly admiring the fortified church. The day will then progress to the city of Sighisoara, where we will visit the notable Church of the Hill and the Clock Tower. Following lunchtime, you will have the opportunity to freely explore Sighisoara's enchanting historic area.

In the afternoon, we will regroup and head south. As we make our way back, we will stop briefly to capture photographs of the impressive Rupea Citadel before returning to Brasov.

It’s important to note that the day trips do not cover entrance fees for certain monuments visited during the tours. The following prices apply:

• Rasnov Citadel: Adults 12RON; Children under 12 and students 6RON
• Bran Castle: Adults 55RON; Seniors over 65 years 40RON; Students 30RON; Children under 7 years 15RON
• Peles Castle: Adults 60RON; Seniors over 65 years 30RON; Children under 10 years and students 15RON

Entrance to the Church of the Hill and the Clock Tower in Sighisoara is included in the day trips, alongside the fortified church in Viscri.

Essential Information

• Peles Castle remains closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. If your trip falls on these days, we will return to Brasov directly after visiting Bran Castle.
• The Clock Tower in Sighisoara is closed on Mondays. On this day, we will visit the nearby Luterana church instead.
• The fortified church in Viscri is typically closed from November to March. If unavailable, we will view it from the outside.
• The upper section of Rasnov Citadel is currently inaccessible due to ongoing renovation work.
