Bruges Day Trip
Description
Popularly known as “The Venice of the North”, Bruges is one of the most picturesque medieval towns in Europe. Explore this destination accompanied by an expert English-speaking guide.
Bruges Day Trip
Head to the Brussels Central Station and hop on a bus at the scheduled time with your English-speaking guide. The journey lasts approximately an hour and a half to Bruges, located 100 km northeast of the capital.
Bruges is packed with striking buildings and monuments. During your guided tour, explore the Lake of Love, Walplein Square, Stoofstraat alley, and the Beguinage, founded in 1245. You'll also visit Old Saint John’s Hospital, the Church of Our Lady, Gruuthuse Palace, and the scenic Dijver and Rozenhoedkaai Canals. See Tanners Square, Castle Square, Market Square, Saint Salvator’s Cathedral, and the Gothic Town Hall.
After the main landmarks, you'll have approximately four hours of free time to explore at your own pace. It is recommended to have lunch, view local lace, and taste Belgian chocolate.
This full-day trip lasts 9.5 hours.
Why Book a Day Trip?
Booking the Bruges tour is the best way to visit the city since train tickets alone cost between 20EUR and 30EUR, depending on the season. For a little more, you gain the benefit of a guided tour in a small group.

Important information
Meet your guide at the exit “Grand Place” in the Brussels Central Station, in front of the Hilton Hotel, in Carrefour de L’Europe.
Bruges has a new measure for all tourist-guided tours. On occasion, our local provider must use a radio with individual headsets. Since throw-away headphones contaminate, we recommend you bring your own to help the environment. If you don't have any, the company will offer you some throw-aways for just 1EUR.
You may contact the provider by e-mail at soporte@buendiatours.com.
Additional Info
Belgian regulations require the use of radio guides in certain situations, making it mandatory to wear headphones. You can bring your own (with a 3.5 mm jack, approximately 0.14 inches, and not wireless) or purchase disposable ones for 1EUR.
