We will gather at the designated time in front of the Musical Instruments Museum before embarking on our journey through the European Quarter, a landmark of the Belgian capital. Are you ready for a captivating stroll through Brussels?
Our adventure begins as we pass the Ravenstein Galleries, frequented by countless professionals from both European and Belgian establishments. Next, we will traverse the lush Royal Park, where numerous embassies and consulates are located. This section of the city is brimming with notable lobbies that influence the urban landscape.
Continuing deeper into the neighborhood, we will encounter the Schuman traffic circle, alongside significant institutions such as the European Commission, the European Council, Leopold Park, and Luxembourg Square. The tour culminates at the impressive European Parliament. Throughout our walk, we will delve into the roles of these institutions while sharing intriguing anecdotes and lesser-known insights.
As part of our exploration, we will visit the Museum of the History of the European Union, an essential destination for grasping the evolution of European history up to the modern era.
Our journey concludes at the iconic Cinquantenaire Park, a monument erected by King Leopold II to commemorate the nation’s independence. Did you know it hosts some of the most significant museums in Brussels?
At the end of our free tour, lasting approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, you will have the option to return to the city center or continue your exploration independently.
