The train museum, located in Schaerbeek station on the track that runs from the capital of Belgium to Mechelen, is an authentic architectural gem and provides the perfect combination of locomotives from the Industrial Revolution and modern-day engines.
At Train World in Brussels, you'll uncover the secrets of railway technology and even climb aboard a simulator to “see into the future” and admire how trains will function in a few years. This is an unforgettable experience for all the family!
Opening Hours
Train World in Brussels is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm. However, please note that the last access is at 3:30 pm.
Family Ticket
If you're a family of 2 adults and 3 children under the age of 18 or 1 adult and 4 children under the age of 18, you have the option of booking the family pass when making your reservation.
Temporary Exhibition
Between September 19, 2024 and August 31, 2025, with your Train World ticket, you can visit the Draw Me a Train! temporary exhibition.
Throughout history, travel, especially train journeys, has been a source of inspiration for artists. With this exhibition, explore the world of the railway as imagined by various artists.
This exhibition delves into the work of 13 renowned artists including comic authors, architects, painters, poster artists, sculptors , and designers who have captured the beauty of trains and the railway universe through their art.
Additionally, the more creative will have the opportunity to unleash their imagination by drawing some of the museum's trains, as well as remarkable or unusual objects from the SNCB's historical collections.
