This sightseeing bus venture through Budapest features a singular route with more than 20 stops. As you traverse the city's stunning landmarks and sprawling neighbourhoods aboard an open-top double-decker bus, immerse yourself in the capital’s rich history and architecture through a personal headset offering pre-recorded commentary in English or 24 additional languages.
During the booking phase, you’ll have the option to select between 1, 2, or 3-day tickets, giving you the flexibility to choose what best suits your itinerary!

How It Functions
Your ticket remains valid for 1, 2, or 3 consecutive days starting from its initial use. For instance, a 2-day ticket activated on a Monday at 3 PM will remain valid until Wednesday at 3 PM. Throughout this period, you may hop on and off whenever you wish.
Although you are required to select a start date when reserving, the service can be utilized within the two weeks following the chosen start date. Please ensure you validate your ticket upon boarding at any designated stop.
Danube River Cruise & Guided Tour
Your bus ticket also grants a 30% discount for a cruise along the Danube River. Departing from pier 6, this boat excursion provides you with stunning vistas of the Parliament, the Chain Bridge, and Buda Castle. An audio guide accompanies the journey, sharing intriguing insights about the various sites.
Additionally, there’s an option for a guided tour, conducted in English, of Budapest's historic district. This tour lasts one hour, starts at the Basilica stop, and concludes at the Chain Bridge.

- Red line: daily service from 10 AM to 5 PM, every 20 minutes
- Cruise on the Danube: daily departures on the hour from 11 AM to 5 PM

Although a start date is requested when making the booking, you can use the service for 2 weeks after the indicated date. If you'd like to change dates, please get in touch with us to let us know. We'll send you a voucher via email, which you must hand in on the first bus you get on.

Bus Schedule
- Red line: Daily departures from 10 am to 5 pm, every 20 minutes
- Cruise through the Danube: You can get a 30% discount for the cruise, with daily departures every hour between 11 am and 5 pm from Pier 6, Pesti alsó rkp. 8., 1052 Budapest. Look for the Big Bus red sign. Although the cruise also departs daily every hour between 6 pm and 9 pm, these times are not included.
- Guided tour of Budapest: Daily departures at 11 am. The tour lasts 1 hour and begins at the Basilica stop (Stop 1) and ends at the Széchenyi Chain Bridge (Stop 2).
However, these hours are subject to change and may vary.
