Dinner Experience
This delightful dinner cruise, complemented by live music, departs from Pier 2 at Akadémia at 7 pm. Guests will dine in a glass-enclosed area aboard the vessel, which maintains a comfortable climate with air conditioning in warmer months and heating during the colder seasons.
As you relish your meal, listen to the enchanting performances by the acclaimed Rajkó folk orchestra. Following the dinner, step outside to admire stunning nighttime views of the Parliament Building and the illuminated bridges of Budapest from the upper deck.
Menu Options
The dinner features a 4-course menu. Please specify your preferred option from the following three menus when making your reservation:
Menu A
- Appetizer: eggplant dip, paprika dip, and pink hummus.
- Soup: traditional beef goulash soup.
- Main course: "Széchenyi" pork tenderloin with mashed potatoes, onions, and pickles.
- Dessert: classic Somlói sponge cake.
Menu B
- Appetizer: eggplant dip, paprika dip, and pink hummus.
- Soup: tarragon poultry ragout soup.
- Main course: chicken thigh in paprikash style, served with potato gratin, fresh salad, and pickles.
- Dessert: traditional Somlói cake.
Menu C
- Appetizer: eggplant dip, paprika dip, and pink hummus.
- Soup: seasonal vegetable cream soup.
- Main course: marinara pasta with tomatoes, olives, and grated Parmesan cheese.
- Dessert: classic Somlói cake.
Policy for Children Under 6
Children under the age of 6 are required to sit on their parent's lap and will not occupy a separate seat.

Important information
On the day of the activity, you have to be at the "Gróf Széchenyi Ship" at least 20 minutes before departure. This is located at the second pier north of the Chain Bridge, on the Pest side, at the following address:: Port Akadémia (dock 2) - Budapest (Budapest, Id. Antall József rkp., 1051 Hungary). It's the second pier from the Chain Bridge to the Parliament on the promenade.
