Danube River Cruise
Embark on a scenic cruise that traverses the Danube River from its northern to southern points, gliding beneath Budapest’s most famous crossings: the Chain Bridge, Elisabeth Bridge, Liberty Bridge, and the two bridges of Margaret Island.
Absorb the exceptional vistas of Buda and Pest, highlighting numerous distinguished sights such as the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the Gellert Hotel, Fisherman’s Bastion, and the Church of Saint Anne.
As you cruise, you will gain insights into the history of the city and each monument as the boat glides past, facilitated by the English pre-recorded commentary. A complimentary drink will also be available for you to select from a variety of options, including champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks, mineral water, or a refreshing glass of homemade lemonade.
The excursion concludes with a return to the original departure point.
Margaret Island
By opting for this Danube cruise in Budapest, you can choose to disembark at Margaret Island and explore it at your leisure. A map with suggested itineraries and exclusive discounts will be provided to enhance your experience. When you are ready, you can catch the next available boat back to the starting point close to Vigadó tér.
This stop is offered from March to October, contingent on the water levels of the Danube River.
Additionally, an optional 30-minute guided tour of Margaret Island in English is available. This guided experience, conducted by an English-speaking guide, is included in your boat ticket at no extra cost. Be aware that this tour will not be conducted on the last daytime cruise.
If you choose to visit Margaret Island during the last time slot of the day, please note that the return trip will be at your own expense, either via public transport or taxi. Furthermore, the 30-minute tour will not be offered in English during this time.

The boats depart from pier number 7 at Vigadó tér street. From Vigadó square go down the stairs, cross the traffic light and turn left. The Legenda company pier is 50 meters away.

Please be sure to arrive at the pier 15-20 minutes before the start of the tour.
Please note that if you visit Margarita Island during the last available time of the day, you will have to make your own way back, either by public transport or by cab. In addition, the 30-minute tour will not be available in English.
