Tour Details 

We will convene at the agreed time at the intersection of Dr. Del Valle Iberlucea and Av. Suárez, conveniently located just a short walk from the Boca Juniors stadium. Prepare to embark on a theatrical exploration of La Boca as we transport ourselves back to 19th-century Buenos Aires. Let’s begin!

Once the group has gathered, we will be introduced to our guides. Two performers will accompany us on a journey to experience the lives of immigrants during the late 19th century, delving into their pivotal contributions to the La Boca community. After the welcome, we’ll enjoy a series of performances that will delight us with some of the most intriguing tales from this vibrant Buenos Aires neighborhood.

Our walk will take us to the legendary La Bombonera stadium, a global symbol that encapsulates the profound love for soccer in Argentina. Continuing the theatrical tour, we will stroll to the railroad tracks, where a myriad of murals narrate the stories of this locale. Each stop will be accompanied by theatrical acts that enrich our understanding of the surroundings.

As we wander, we’ll encounter Caminito, an ideal location to witness the culture of the inhabitants of the late 19th-century tenement homes, known as conventillos. Here, we’ll also hear the melodies of some of the city’s most cherished tangos. Given that tango originated along the banks of the Río de la Plata, experiencing this aspect of the tour is essential!

The route will continue along Pedro de Mendoza Avenue, where we can appreciate the artwork of the famed artist Benito Quinquela Martín and the notable Vuelta de Rocha.

To conclude our adventure, we’ll reach the Matanza River and pause before the Transbordador Bridge. After a final theatrical presentation, we’ll bid farewell and finish our tour 1.5 hours later. Until next time!
