Tour Options
During the reservation process, you have the opportunity to select from various tour experiences. Each session takes place at 3750 Dr. Luis Beláustegui St. and features either a tasting of 3 or 5 wines, guided by an expert.
A brief overview of each option is presented below:
Tasting of 3 Wines (1 Hour & 15 Minutes - 1.5 Hours)
Your adventure begins with an introduction in a venue filled with enthusiasm for Argentine wines, led by the founder and sommelier. Attendees will receive foundational knowledge to enhance their tasting experience. Following this, participants will engage in a blind tasting of 3 select wines, focusing on the identification of aromas, flavors, and textures without preconceived notions from the labels.
Subsequently, guests will collaborate in groups to create their personal wine blend. Utilizing test tubes, funnels, and a variety of base wines, each group will experiment with different proportions to produce a unique blend. Additionally, a personal touch can be added by designing a custom label. The experience will be complemented with pairings of cheeses and nuts.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday at 3 pm
Tasting of 5 Wines (1 Hour & 15 Minutes - 1.5 Hours)
This experience begins with a comprehensive overview of the wine production process. The tasting journey is divided into three essential components: color, aroma, and flavor. Participants will learn how to discern these characteristics while enjoying the 5 wines, each showcasing the richness of Argentina's regions.
Afterward, the guided tasting will commence. Attendees will sample each variety, paired with traditional meat empanadas, a potato omelet, as well as cubanitos de dulce de leche for a complete culinary experience.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday at 3 pm
Tasting of 5 Wines + Aroma Workshop (1 Hour & 15 Minutes - 1.5 Hours)
In this immersive session, guests will dive deep into the world of wine aromas. The experience kicks off with an aroma workshop, utilizing a specialized aroma kit to train your olfactory senses. After mastering the identification of various wine notes, participants will put their skills to the test through a tasting experience with black glasses, relying solely on smell to identify the 5 wines.
The use of black glasses allows participants to focus entirely on sensory exploration, eliminating visual cues such as color and clarity. This engaging challenge will be paired with a selection of cheese and nuts and mineral water to cleanse the palate, enhancing the experience further.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday at 3 pm
Tasting of 5 Wines + Argentinean Cooking Class (3 Hours)
This experience is perfect for those who love cooking as much as they love wine. Attendees will don aprons as they learn to prepare meat or corn empanadas. Participants will create the filling in the traditional manner before baking. While the empanadas cook, there will be discussions about the various wines produced in different regions of Argentina.
Next, the group will mix ingredients for alfajores de maicena con dulce de leche, a beloved Argentinian treat! Each participant will gain insights into crafting this classic dessert, with opportunities to personalize the dish by selecting different toppings. Once all dishes are prepared, guests will enjoy their tasting of 5 wines, thoughtfully chosen to pair with the freshly made dishes.
