Embark on a 2-day journey along the Uruguayan coastline, where you'll traverse the Rio de la Plata to discover either Colonia del Sacramento or Riachuelo, promising a memorable adventure!

When you make your reservation, you can opt for one of two exciting tour experiences. Both commence and conclude at the Monumental Stadium (River Plate Stadium) and include an on-board tour guide as well as an overnight stay in the ship’s accommodations.

Colonia del Sacramento Excursion

We will start with a brief overview of the route as we prepare to embark on our journey across the mighty Río de la Plata. Once everything is set, we’ll set our sails toward the delightful city of Colonia del Sacramento. Let the exploration begin!

During a six-hour sail, you’ll admire the river’s magnificent expanse, with its waters reflecting a spectrum of golden and brown hues as the light shifts. For those interested, there will be opportunities to learn about sailing and feel the breeze in the sails as we navigate these waters.

As we approach the coast of Uruguay, the picturesque outline of Colonia del Sacramento gradually comes into focus. Keep an eye out for its rooftops, winding cobbled streets, and the iconic lighthouse that stands guard over the shoreline. We are nearing our destination!

Upon arrival, you’ll have the entire day to wander through this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Meander through its charming colonial streets, visit the renowned Calle de los Suspiros, or ascend the lighthouse for breathtaking views of the Río de la Plata.

As the day draws to a close, you can return to the sailboat to enjoy a night in snug cabins, gently cradled by the river's rhythm. If you prefer solid ground, you are free to book accommodation in Colonia for a night on land.

The following morning, we will set sail again, making our way back to the starting point with an expected arrival around 6 pm.

Riachuelo Adventure

This option offers an 8-hour sail to Riachuelo, a serene town located southwest of Colonia del Sacramento, perfect for those looking for a tranquil retreat away from the city.

Upon arrival, you’ll have leisure time to explore the village at your leisure. The Riachuelo marina provides excellent amenities, including soccer and paddle courts, as well as access to restrooms, showers, and barbecue facilities for your convenience.

Take in the surrounding woodlands by hiking nature pathways or simply relax by the creekside. You can choose to stay overnight on the sailboat or, should you prefer, book a charming cabin located in the village.

The next day, we will set course back to the starting point, with an arrival time anticipated around 6 pm.

Accommodations

This experience includes one night in the double cabins of the sailboat, featuring bunk beds and comfortable mattresses. Please remember to bring your own sleeping bag. You are welcome to use the marina facilities, which offer restrooms and showers.

If you would rather not spend the night on the sailboat, please arrange your own accommodations in either Colonia del Sacramento or Riachuelo, based on the option selected.

• The sailboat is equipped with a restroom, a small kitchen, and a refrigerator.
• The sailboat accommodates a maximum of 6 passengers. As this is a shared tour, those booking for 4 or fewer may share the space with others.

• This tour is not suitable for pregnant individuals or elderly individuals with health issues.
