During this complimentary exploration of Puerto Madero, participants will uncover the charm of one of Buenos Aires' most contemporary neighborhoods and traverse the Puente de la Mujer (Women's Bridge).
Tour Overview
Our meeting point will be the Juana Azurduy Monument, located directly in front of the Kirchner Cultural Center, where we will start this walking adventure. The guided stroll will lead us through Puerto Madero, renowned for its exclusivity and upscale ambiance, reflecting the vibrant life of Buenos Aires.
We will kick off our journey by observing the Fragata A.R.A. Presidente Sarmiento, the nation’s first training vessel, which now functions as a museum docked at Dique III. Next, we will walk across the renowned Puente de La Mujer, a symbol of the Puerto Madero area. Be sure to capture memories with your camera!
As we proceed, our path will take us by the Anne Frank Monument and along Juana Manso Street, showcasing some of the country’s luxury hotels and residences. Notably, the Alvear Tower, standing at an impressive 235 meters (770 feet), marks the skyline as Argentina's tallest building. Subsequently, we will visit the Argentine Women's Park, a serene green area dedicated to honoring remarkable Argentine women!
Continuing our route, we will pass by the historic structure of the Munich Brewery and view the Monument to the Naval Prefecture. We will then make our way to the Costanera, where participants are welcome to indulge in a local delicacy, the choripán, from one of the street vendors. A tasty treat indeed!
The tour will proceed to the Ecological Reserve of Costanera Sur, where we will enjoy a leisurely walk leading us to the riverbanks. Our exploration will conclude here, wrapping up the experience after approximately 2 hours of discovery.
