As we explore, you’ll discover the commemorative plaque and mural at Corrientes 348, while we recount the avenue's pivotal role in tango history. Ascend to the 23rd floor of the building housing the Club Alemán to enjoy panoramic views of Corrientes and capture your first memorable photos of the journey.
Next, we will descend and stroll to some of the historic bars such as La Ideal, Los Galgos, and La Giralda. At La Giralda, you will be treated to a typical snack. Following this, our path will lead us to the renowned theatres of Tabaris, Politeama, and Marabu, which originally operated as cabarets.
As we continue our tango exploration, we will include visits to notable venues like Gran Rex, Odeón Theatre, La Bohemia de Buenos Aires, Teatro Ópera Orbis, Teatro Lola Membrives, and Maipo. Here, we will discuss the prominent orchestras from the golden era of tango, and you’ll also discover where the legendary Carlos Gardel performed in the heart of Argentina.
The moment we've all been anticipating arrives—it's time to experience an authentic tango dance hall!
