Our adventure begins at 10 am, as we convene at the Tourist House of the Viña Santa Rita winery. Initially, we will navigate the vineyards aboard a horse-drawn carriage. Throughout this ride, we will delve into the intriguing history of this renowned winery, which has established itself as a key destination for wine tourism in the Chilean town of Buin.

From the carriage, your gaze will be drawn to the monolith honoring the Carmenere grapes, marking the very spot where this varietal was rediscovered in 1994. You’ll uncover the fascinating history behind these vineyards, celebrated for producing outstanding Chilean wines that embody unique characteristics. Following our carriage tour, we will proceed to the wine cellar named after the 120 patriots, where we'll share stories about the significant figures who inspired its name.

This winery is intimately connected to the heritage of the estate, representing one of its most treasured legacies. Viña Santa Rita has also been a witness to many pivotal moments in Chile's history. You will surely be captivated by the stories surrounding the origins of its vines, which have fascinating roots spanning decades.

To conclude our experience, we will enjoy a tasting session featuring three Premium Carmenere wines, paired with a delightful selection of regional cheeses, crackers, and nuts. As a memorable takeaway, you will receive a wooden cheese board as a gift at the end of our tasting, at 11:30 am.
