Tour Overview
Our journey begins at 12:45 pm at the Casa de Turismo (Tourism Centre) of the Santa Rita winery, a hallmark of Chile's winemaking heritage located in Buin.
Our first stop will be the vineyards, where we will embark on a memorable adventure in a splendid pedal bar. From this delightful mode of transportation, we will gaze upon the vast vineyard landscapes of Santa Rita, famed for cultivating exceptional grape varieties such as Carménère, reintroduced to the world in 1994.
As we journey through the vineyards on the pedal bar, we will explore the main facilities adjacent to the wineries. This includes a visit to the century-old park and the historic dairy of the estate. Our route will also allow us to view the neo-Gothic chapel of Santa Rita and the Roman-style baths dating back to the 19th century, all of which are recognized as a National Historical Monument of Chile.
Throughout the ride, we will indulge in a delightful tasting session featuring wines from Santa Rita. Participants will sample two Reserva wines alongside one Gran Reserva, gaining insights into their distinct nuances and aromas. It’s an opportunity to embrace your inner winemaker!
This wine tasting experience concludes at 1:30 pm, and you'll receive a specially engraved wine glass to take home as a memorable keepsake.
