Tour Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon your arrival in Cairo, our team will be there to greet you at the airport. We will assist you with visa processing and navigating through immigration. Next, you will be transferred to your hotel, followed by a meal at a local restaurant in the city. For late arrivals after 9 pm, a cold picnic will be provided at the hotel instead of dinner.

Day 2: Giza, Memphis, & Cairo

After breakfast, the day starts with a visit to the Great Pyramid of Giza, along with The Pyramid of Khafre, Pyramid of Menkaure, and the Sphinx, in the renowned archaeological site nearby. Next, we will explore a papyrus institute to observe the traditional papermaking techniques. Continuing your cultural journey, we will proceed to Memphis and Saqqara - the remnants of ancient Cairo.

After lunch, we head back to the hotel for some relaxation before embarking on a night tour of Cairo, where you'll witness the city illuminated under the night sky. The tour includes a stop at the famous Café of Mirrors. To conclude the evening, enjoy dinner featuring local delicacies in a traditional restaurant.

Day 3: Cairo

Your third day focuses on the Saladin Citadel of Cairo, The Alabaster Mosque, and the Khan el-Khalili Souk Market. Within this ancient maze of market stalls, you will have a chance to immerse in the vibrant atmosphere filled with the sights, sounds, and aromas of Cairo, showcasing local crafts, perfumes, and musical instruments.

The exploration continues at the Grand Egyptian Museum, highlighting the treasures of Tutankhamun alongside over 500,000 artifacts from ancient Egypt spread over 12 galleries. We will also visit the Coptic Quarter before returning to the hotel for a well-deserved rest. You’ll depart with a comprehensive understanding of Cairo!

Day 4: Cairo - Aswan

After breakfast, we will travel to the airport for a flight to Aswan, historically known as Syene, where massive stone blocks were quarried for the grand statues. Upon arrival, we'll take you to your hotel where you can relax until the next day.

Day 5: Aswan - Abu Simbel - Aswan

On the fifth day, we will pick you up from your hotel and head to the cruise ship ready for your Nile exploration.

Your first destination will be the picturesque Philae temple, often described as the Jewel of the Nile. To gain deeper insights into Aswan, we'll visit Abu Simbel, famous for its breathtaking temples.

Later, we will return to the cruise ship to spend the night on board.

Day 6: Aswan - Kom Ombo - Edfu

Enjoy the sixth day as we sail the Nile towards Kom Ombo. We will disembark at sunset to visit its extraordinary historic temple. This unique temple from the Ptolemaic dynasty features a twin design dedicated to both the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus.

Afterward, we will return to the ship for dinner while continuing our journey towards Edfu.

Day 7: Edfu - Luxor

Start the morning with a visit to the Edfu Temple, known as the second largest and best-preserved temple in Egypt. Here, you will explore the historical significance of the temple dedicated to the god Horus, including the intricate murals that adorn its walls.

Afterward, we will reboard the ship and navigate through the lock headed to Luxor.

Important Notice: The visit to Edfu will utilize a horse-drawn carriage. Should you prefer an alternative mode of transportation, please inform your guide a day in advance for reservations.

Day 8: Luxor - Hurghada

The eighth day is dedicated to Luxor, where a rich schedule awaits in what was once known as Thebes, the thriving capital during Egypt's New Kingdom. You'll explore Karnak, Luxor Temple, The Colossi of Memnon, and The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut. The highlight will be the renowned Valley of the Kings, housing the toms of many New Kingdom pharaohs.

After exploring Luxor, we will travel to Hurghada, approximately 4 hours away, making a brief stop to rest along the way.

Upon arrival, we’ll check into our hotel, enjoy dinner, and unwind.

Day 9: Hurghada

Following a busy day in Luxor, you’ll relish this day of relaxation in Egypt’s prime beach resort, Hurghada. Nestled on the Red Sea’s coast, you’ll have ample time to unwind and enjoy the amenities of the resort.

Day 10: Hurghada

To conclude your time in Hurghada, we suggest taking a swim in the Red Sea, where vibrant coral reefs and marine life flourish. You can also discover additional activities available in Hurghada.

Day 11: Hurghada - Cairo

After breakfast, we will take a flight back to Cairo and assist you until you board your international flight.

The last day is dependent on your flight schedule. For early flights, we will return from Hurghada in time for breakfast or a to-go option. If your flight is in the evening, you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before traveling to Hurghada for your flight back to Cairo.

Essential Information

• The itinerary order is subject to adjustments without prior notice, although all listed visits will occur. Your arrival dates may cause the sequence of visits to vary.
• Traveling from Hurghada to Aswan will take approximately 6 to 7 hours.
• Please note that renovations may result in either Kefren or Micerinos being closed, while Keops typically remains open (though may occasionally close for refurbishment).

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Refunds will not be issued for cancellations between December 20th and January 2nd (Christmas), as well as during Easter. Itineraries may vary during peak travel times and special dates.

Requirements for the Tour Package

To join this tour, you'll need a round-trip flight booked to and from Cairo. Arrivals should coincide with the tour start date, with departures occurring 11 days later. For example, from Monday to Thursday, Thursday to Sunday, or Saturday to Tuesday. We will handle all arrangements during your stay.
