Gulf of Orosei Boat Trip
Description
Embark on a remarkable boat journey through the Gulf of Orosei, where stunning coastal scenery along the eastern shoreline of Sardinia awaits to be unveiled!
Details of the Day Trip
At the designated meeting time, we will gather at Via Cala Luna 1 and proceed to the harbor to commence this cruise across the Gulf of Orosei. All set to board!
Throughout the excursion, we'll explore the intriguing coves, steep gorges, and picturesque highlights along this part of Sardinia's eastern coast. Weather permitting, we will make multiple stops lasting between 1 and 2 hours at renowned beaches such as Cala Luna, Cala Mariolu, and Cala Sisine. You will be enchanted by the pristine waters!
Additionally, we will make swift stops at Piscina Venere and Cala Goloritzé, perfect for capturing memorable photographs with these spectacular backdrops. Did you know that Cala Goloritzé was shaped by a landslide in the 1960s?
Moreover, during the voyage, indulge in a glass of wine and savor a slice of a traditional Italian cake at the onboard bar—an ideal conclusion to your experience!
At the end of the journey, we will return to our starting point after approximately 7 to 8 hours on the water.
Visit to the Grotta del Bue Marino
When booking, you have the option to include a guided tour of the Grotta del Bue Marino. This segment allows you to explore one of the region’s most famous caves, where you will disembark for a guided walking excursion of 0.62 miles (1 kilometer), giving you the chance to observe the habitat of Sardinia's Mediterranean monk seals.
After completing the approximately 1-hour tour of the Grotta del Bue Marino, we will return to our vessel to continue the adventure across the Gulf of Orosei and relish the scenic boat ride.
Important: To enter the Grotta del Bue Marino, you must purchase an access ticket via this link, selecting the same date and time as your booking with us. Access to the cave is not permitted without this ticket.
Itinerary Overview
Please note that during the peak tourist season, due to the high volume of vessels and visitors, the itinerary sequence may vary. We assure at least 3 to 4 stops at different coves, which may differ from the initial plan, along with 2 swimming breaks.
Moreover, the scheduled stops will depend on prevailing weather conditions and the limited capacity of each beach.
