Surfing Instruction in Lanzarote

Upon securing your spot in the surfing course, you can select from the following formats:

2-Hour Session

This class is ideal for those who are short on time yet eager to discover surfing. Participants will receive initial guidance on the shore before heading to the waters of Caleta de Famara.

The sense of liberation on your surfboard is unmatched, and you'll enjoy the camaraderie of fellow beginners.

Timetable

Your class can commence at one of these two designated times:

• Starting at 10 am and concluding at 12 pm (arrival at 9:15)
• Beginning at 12:30 pm and wrapping up by 2:30 pm (arrival at 11:45)

4-Hour Session

Following your pickup from the designated meeting location, we'll embark on our surfing journey. Experienced instructors will guide you through foundational techniques, beginning with practice on the beach before transitioning to the ocean. Once you've warmed up and grasped the essential concepts, we'll grab our surfboards and embrace the waves. Expect to take a few tumbles initially, but as seasoned surfers emphasize, what matters is your resilience in getting back up.

This course consists of two instructional segments. The first spans from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a brief break before resuming from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

3-Day Course

If you're looking to delve deeper into surfing while enjoying Lanzarote's beauty, consider this extended option. You'll be equipped with all necessary surfing gear, tailored to your skill level. This course also features a 2-hour photography session, capturing your most memorable moments of the adventure!

• Over the course of three days, lessons are structured into two segments, the first being from 10 am to 12 pm, followed by a break before the second from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

Note

The 2-hour and 4-hour surfing lessons are designed specifically for beginners.

Pickup Information

Hotel pickup is only provided for the 4-hour course. If two or more individuals book together, we include complimentary transport from hotels located in Puerto del Carmen, Arrecife, Puerto Calero, or Costa Teguise. Please indicate your hotel name and contact number at the time of booking.

If your accommodation is outside these regions or your reservation is for just one participant, a pickup service is unavailable. In such instances, you will meet at Calima Surf School, located at Avenida el Marinero, 13, 45 minutes prior to the lesson's start.
