Details of the Day Trip

We will commence the adventure by picking you up from your accommodation in Cali at the scheduled time. After that, we will journey towards the picturesque Cauca Valley, celebrated for its rich biodiversity. Upon arrival, our first stop will be the Andoke Butterful Reserve, a sanctuary hosting over 15 native butterfly species.

During your visit to the Andoke Butterfly Reserve, you will gain insights into the distinctive traits of each butterfly species and their vital role within the ecosystem. As you walk along the scenic trails of the reserve, you will also encounter local birds of the Cauca Valley, dragonflies, and numerous plants that sustain the butterflies.

The reserve features a unique map of Colombia illustrating its geographical divisions, rivers, urban areas, and the diverse flora and fauna found in each locality. Get ready for some intriguing discoveries!

Next, we will return to our transport and proceed to Cerro Los Cristales, the site where Cali's impressive guardian, the Cristo Rey (Christ the King), resides. This magnificent statue, a symbol of the city, stands at a remarkable height of 85 ft (25 m) and weighs 2204 lbs (464 tonnes).

After you have captured some memorable photographs, we will conclude our tour with a return to your hotel in Cali, wrapping up a captivating four-hour experience.
