Parc Samà Ticket
Constructed in the late 19th century under the direction of Salvador Samà i Torrents, the Marquis of Mariano, Parc Samà served as a tranquil retreat. Its design beautifully reflects the ideals of the cultural movement known as romanticism.
This historically significant garden is designated as a Bien de Interés Cultural ("Goods of Cultural Interest") and features diverse elements, including a charming palace, a picturesque lake adorned with suspension bridges, and breathtaking gardens. Strolling through these areas promises an unforgettable experience!
The romantic gardens boast natural, almost untamed characteristics. Deer and peacocks, which were common in similar gardens of the era, evoke a sense of time travel. In Parc Samà, you can experience varied landscapes echoing the influences of colonial Cuba, Eastern tranquility, and the essence of classical Greece amidst olive trees, vines, and almond trees.
Year of Gaudí
This remarkable garden was the brainchild of Josep Fontserè, who also collaborated with Antoni Gaudí on iconic projects such as Barcelona’s Ciutadella Park. To commemorate the Year of Gaudí 2026, Parc Samà is thrilled to present its special initiative, “Troba Gaudí,” featuring an array of exciting activities:
- Restoration of the Torre Angulo viewpoint: This scenic location has been revitalized with mirrored installations and new perspectives for enhanced appreciation.
- Special events including “An Afternoon of Opera in the Historic Garden,” the 8th Festival of the Indianos and Modernism, along with photography contests on Instagram.
