MUSA Underwater Museum Scuba Diving

Are you ready for an exhilarating adventure beneath the waves? This scuba diving excursion in Cancún invites you to unveil the wonders of the MUSA Underwater Museum and the Manchones Reef. Prepare for a memorable journey in the Caribbean waters!

Scuba Diving Overview

We'll gather at the Real Inn hotel in Cancún at the scheduled time and make our way to the port. There, you will receive the scuba diving gear required for our dive. The adventure begins!

Next, we’ll board a boat and embark on a 20-minute ride to our first dive site. Upon arrival, you will dive into the stunning underwater realm of the Mexican Caribbean. For 40 minutes, you will get to explore the renowned Cancún Underwater Museum (MUSA), an artificial reef created with over 300 submerged sculptures at a depth of approximately 32 ft (10 m). Prepare to be astonished!

After our first dive, we’ll take a moment to relax onboard and prepare for our second dive as we sail for 15 minutes to the next destination. During this enjoyable journey, we’ll offer you juice, bottled water, fruit, and cookies to help you recharge.

Our second dive awaits you at the Manchones Reef, one of the stunning natural treasures of the Riviera Maya. We'll descend to a depth of 32 ft (10 m) for another 40 minutes, immersing ourselves in a vibrant ecosystem teeming with tropical fish, beautiful corals, and, if fortune smiles upon you, sea turtles. This underwater experience is sure to leave you in awe!

Finally, we will head back to the port after completing this captivating 4.5 to 5-hour outing.

Essential Information

Participation requires that you possess a valid diver certification.
