Guided Tour of the Rio Secreto Nature Reserve
Once picked up from your Cancun accommodation, you will embark on a short van ride lasting 15 minutes through the jungle pathways to reach the Rio Secreto nature reserve.
Upon arrival at the entrance of Rio Secreto, harnessed with the necessary equipment, you will be greeted by an English-speaking guide who will lead you through the longest semi-flooded cave in the Yucatan Peninsula for an exciting hour and a half.
You will have the chance to swim in azure waters and marvel at the fascinating rock formations that define this mesmerizing underground realm, often referred to locally as the 'Mayan underworld'.
After the guided experience comes to a close, a delightful buffet featuring regional cuisine and beverages will be available. Revitalized, you will then return to your hotels in Cancun.

- Guests are limited to a maximum weight of 120 kilograms.
Protecting the Natural Reserve
We advise against using chemicals like sunscreen, insect repellent, or makeup while entering the underground river, as these substances may disrupt the conservation efforts of the nature reserve.
Photography using cameras or video equipment inside the Rio Secreto nature reserve is prohibited. To capture images, specialized equipment is required. During your visit, professional photographers will document your experience, and you will have the option to purchase these photographs at the end of the tour (priced at 25 USD each).
