Arrival Day: Cancun

Upon reaching Cancun airport, a warm welcome awaits as we escort you to your accommodation for the first night. After settling in, enjoy your free evening to discover the local dining options. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Day 2: Cancun - Tulum - Bacalar - Chetumal

Start your day with a pleasant breakfast at the hotel before departing for Tulum. This historic archaeological site, established in the 6th century during the Maya Empire, provides breathtaking views perched above white sandy beaches. Explore the ancient city, which is safeguarded by impressive walls and cliffs along the coastline.

After visiting Tulum, savor a delightful grilled fish lunch at a local eatery. In the afternoon, continue your journey to Chetumal, with a stop at Bacalar, also known as the Lagoon of the Seven Colors. This beautiful spot features the famous Cenote Azul, inviting you for a refreshing swim in its crystal-clear waters.

Arriving in Chetumal, you'll have some free time to stroll through this historic Maya port before enjoying dinner and a restful night at your hotel.

Day 3: Chetumal - Becan - Palenque

Enjoy a fulfilling breakfast, then set out towards Becan. Discover this ancient Maya city and ceremonial hub deep in the jungle, offering an unforgettable glimpse into the past, located near the Belize border.

Take a leisurely walk amid lush greenery, where you might spot monkeys and diverse wildlife. Replenish your energy with a delicious lunch featuring grilled meats at a nearby ranch.

Your day concludes as you reach Palenque for dinner, followed by a restful evening at your accommodation.

Day 4: Palenque - Agua Azul - Palenque

Following breakfast, we'll depart Palenque for the stunning Agua Azul waterfalls. Marvel at the beauty of these picturesque cascades, deemed some of the finest waterfalls in Mexico. Enjoy a swim in the clear waters sourced from the Otulún, Shumuljá, and Tulijá rivers.

Relish a scrumptious grilled fish lunch by the falls. After this refreshing adventure, we will explore the archaeological site of Palenque with a guided tour, highlighting magnificent structures like the Temple of the Inscriptions and the Temple of the Sun.

Conclude the day with dinner at the hotel, enjoying a true Mexican experience.

Day 5: Palenque - Campeche

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel as we make our way toward the Gulf of Mexico. Our journey begins with a visit to Champotón, a great spot to observe pelicans and enjoy a refreshing swim.

After a delightful seaside lunch, proceed to Campeche, a mesmerizing port city recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Experience a guided tour showcasing its baroque colonial architecture, the famous Malecon, and the fascinating San Miguel Fort. Afterward, enjoy dinner and unwind at your hotel.

Day 6: Campeche - Celestun - Merida

Day six begins with a hearty breakfast before we set off. Our first stop will be a Maya cemetery in Pomuch, noted for its vividly decorated tombs. Next, we will explore Bécal, famous for its Jipijapa hats, where we will visit a workshop to observe the hat-making process.

Continuing on, arrive at Celestún, a lovely fishing village on the Gulf. Board a boat to witness the rich birdlife, including over 18,000 flamingos. We will explore the mangroves and freshwater springs before enjoying lunch by the sea, featuring delectable ceviche.

Proceed to Merida, known as the White City, where we will visit notable landmarks such as the San Ildefonso Cathedral and Plaza de Armas. Browse through a covered market filled with goods crafted from henequen fiber, including hammocks, textiles, and jewelry, before retreating to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7: Merida - Izamal - Chichen Itza

After a morning meal at the hotel, we will set off towards the Izamal archaeological site, a key landmark of Maya heritage. Explore its remarkable ruins, noting its distinction as Mexico's first magical city and the city of Three Cultures.

Enjoy lunch at a local eatery featuring regional dishes. Following our meal, we’ll visit a cenote, inviting you for a refreshing swim. Are you curious about the origins of the cenotes? We’ll uncover the answers!

Afterward, journey to your hotel in Chichén Itzá, where a lovely dinner awaits before resting for the night.

Day 8: Chichen Itza - Cancun

On the final day, savor your last breakfast on this tour before heading to Chichén Itzá, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Marvel at its key monuments, including the iconic Kukulkan pyramid, the Mesoamerican ball court, the Ossuary, and the Temple of Venus. Visit the sacred cenote, a vast natural sinkhole reaching depths of 20 meters (66 feet).

Following the tour, enjoy some leisure time for lunch prior to our return to Cancun. We will ensure timely transport to the airport for your flight. Until next time!
