Arrival Day: Cancun

Upon your arrival at Cancun airport, transportation will be provided to take you to the hotel where you'll spend the first night. After checking in, the evening is free for you to explore and have dinner. See you tomorrow!

Day 2: Cancun - Tulum - Bacalar - Chetumal

Begin the day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before heading to Tulum. This ancient archaeological site, founded in the 6th century during the Maya Empire, offers a stunning view from its perch on the edge of a white sandy beach. Explore the city surrounded by defensive walls and cliffs protecting the seafront.

Following the Tulum visit, enjoy a lunch of grilled fish at one of the local restaurants. In the afternoon, the journey continues to Chetumal, with a stop at Bacalar along the way. Known as the Lagoon of the Seven Colors, Bacalar boasts the famous Cenote Azul—a must-see with crystal-clear waters perfect for a refreshing dip.

Concluding the day, you will have time to wander the streets of this ancient Maya port before dinner and a relaxing night at the hotel.

Day 3: Chetumal - Becan - Palenque

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a journey to Becan, an ancient Maya city and ceremonial center nestled in the heart of the jungle. Take a leisurely stroll through lush vegetation, where you may encounter monkeys and other wildlife. Recharge with a delightful lunch at an old ranch, savoring delicious grilled meat.

Conclude the day by arriving in Palenque for dinner, then head to the accommodation to rest.

Day 4: Palenque - Agua Azul - Palenque

After breakfast, venture towards the enchanting Agua Azul waterfalls. Revel in the beauty of these cascades, considered among the most beautiful waterfalls in Mexico. Dive into the crystal-clear waters formed by the Otulún, Shumuljá, and Tulijá rivers for a refreshing swim.

Then, enjoy a meal of grilled fish by the waterfalls. Following this aquatic escapade, return to Palenque to explore its archaeological site with a guided tour showcasing structures like the Temple of the Inscriptions and the Temple of the Sun.

Finally, return to the hotel for a dinner in true Mexican style.

Day 5: Palenque - Campeche

Begin the day with breakfast at the hotel as you head toward the Gulf of Mexico. The first stop will be in Champotón for a chance to observe pelicans and enjoy a refreshing swim.

After a delightful seaside lunch, continue your journey to Campeche, a captivating port and fortified city designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Take a guided tour of its baroque colonial buildings, the renowned Malecon, and the impressive San Miguel Fort. Dinner at the hotel concludes the day.

Day 6: Campeche - Celestun - Merida

On day six, enjoy breakfast before hitting the road. Make a brief stop at a Maya cemetery in Pomuch, featuring brightly colored and decorated tombs, before exploring Bécal, known for its hats made from Jipijapa leaves.

Next, proceed to Celestún, a charming fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico, for a boat ride to admire the diverse aquatic birdlife, including over 18,000 flamingos. Following this, enjoy lunch by the sea, including delicious ceviche.

Upon reaching Merida, the capital of Yucatan, discover highlights like the San Ildefonso Cathedral and Plaza de Armas, along with the covered market offering artisanal goods before concluding the day at the hotel after a delightful dinner.

Day 7: Merida - Izamal - Chichen Itza

After breakfast, travel to the Izamal archaeological site, one of the most important sites of Maya culture. Tour its impressive ruins and discover its significance as Mexico's first magical city, known for being the city of Three Cultures.

Next, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before traveling to a cenote where you can take a swim.

After this refreshing dip, you’ll journey to the hotel in Chichén Itzá for dinner before retiring for the night.

Day 8: Chichen Itza - Cancun

On the last day, enjoy breakfast before embarking on a journey to one of the New Seven Wonders of the World: the Chichén Itzá archaeological site. Explore its main monuments, including the iconic Kukulkan pyramid and the Temple of Venus, as well as the sacred cenote.

After the visit, you’ll have free time for lunch before returning to Cancun. Transportation will be provided to the airport in time for your flight. Until next time!
