Opened in 2023 with the participation of Charles Duke, a notable astronaut who walked on the lunar surface, this center holds significant historical value. Prepare yourself for a genuine exploration of the past and future of space science.

Commencing your visit, you will view a captivating introductory video showcasing visuals and audio from the Space Race. Subsequently, a stroll through exhibitions featuring more than 270 original artifacts from NASA missions awaits you, including astronaut suits and pieces from various rockets. In the Houston Control Room, witness the actual gear used to oversee pivotal space missions.

Ascend in the remarkable elevator simulating the launch of Saturn V, the rocket that enabled humanity's journey to the moon. Are you prepared for liftoff? Additionally, one of the cinema rooms offers seats that replicate the sensation of a moon landing. If you seek more excitement, you will wander through meticulously recreated spaces that evoke the feeling of weightlessness above the moon's surface.

A highlight of your visit will undoubtedly be the Planetarium, where an exclusive medium-length film produced in collaboration with the American Museum of Natural History and NASA will be exhibited. This visual masterpiece will leave you in awe!

During the reservation process, you can select from three different ticket options to tailor your visit at Space Adventure Canela:

• Planetarium Admission Ticket: grants access solely to the immersive projection in the planetarium, designed alongside the American Museum of Natural History and NASA, perfect for those looking for an astronomical experience!

• Space Admission Ticket: encompasses full access to the museum, including its themed exhibits, the Saturn V simulator, recreated environments, and displays with original space mission artifacts. This option does not cover the planetarium.

• Space + Planetarium Admission Ticket: the most comprehensive choice, offering access to both the museum and the planetarium, ensuring you experience all facets of this intergalactic adventure.

Operating Hours

Space Adventure Canela opens during the following hours:

November & December 2025

• Sunday to Thursday: from 9 am to 6 pm
• Friday and Saturday: from 9 am to 7 pm

On December 24 and 31, hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm.

On December 25 and January 1, it will operate from 11 am to 7 pm.

January 2026

• From January 2 to 18: Sundays to Thursdays from 9 am to 6 pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am to 7 pm.
• Starting from January 19: open from 10 am to 6 pm.
