Uncovered in 1972 by a perceptive farmer, Latif Acar, who was searching for additional water for his crops, this astonishing location transformed into a sprawling city with further excavations. Capable of accommodating up to 60,000 inhabitants for periods of up to three months, the magnitude of this discovery is genuinely astounding.
